Vendor Vetting Resources for Schools
ATLIS Vendor Resources
Resources for Vendors
ATLIS members have come to us for solutions as they grapple with the daunting task of vendor vetting. So we are on a campaign to make sure our vendors are going through the steps necessary to clearly demonstrate their commitment to risk mitigation and data protection. ATLIS is partnering with EdSurge, ISTE, and 9ine to increase the presence of independent school vendors in their listings. By being vetted by these providers, you’ll be one step closer to being discovered by independent school leaders who are searching for trustworthy vendors. When schools come to ATLIS for vendor vetting solutions, this is where we will be pointing them. Unfortunately, many of our vendor partners aren’t currently listed. Help us help our members discover you and understand your commitment to security.

9ine Certified Vendor
9ine’s Certified Vendor Programme recognizes organizations that take a professional approach to privacy and cybersecurity management. The certificate issued by 9ine demonstrates that the organization takes its legal responsibilities seriously, seeks to improve its privacy and cyber protections, and responds responsibly to emerging trends, concerns, and threats. Many of our more resourced member schools are using 9ine for vendor and third-party management. By joining the list of independent school vendors who are 9ine Certified, you will save yourself time and communicate your commitment to safety to schools.
ISTE’s Learning Technology Directory
The EdTech Index and ISTE’s Learning Technology Directory provide free listings to qualifying vendors. Since 2012, the EdTech Index (formerly called the EdSurge Product Index) has been the first stop for educators in search of learning technology solutions. The recently redesigned Product Index features enhanced product profiles and validations from trusted education and technology organizations. Educators will be able to find and compare the most complete, reliable and up-to-date information available on learning technology products.
ISTE’s Learning Technology Directory (LTD) is a central hub for edtech solution providers to input, update, and share their product information. The LTD powers the EdTech Index. ISTE works alongside product certification partners on a collective vision: to provide education leaders and educators with easy access to edtech product information, including alignments, badges, certifications about edtech interoperability, privacy, accessibility, usability and evidence to find the right tools for learners.
To add your company to the Product Index, you must register and update your product(s) through ISTE’s Learning Technology Directory (LTD). After you click “Join Now” and register and submit your product, the ISTE/EdSurge team will process your submission for review.
