About Us

The Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools (ATLIS) was founded in 2014 as the only national professional association addressing the unique challenges of independent school Technology Directors.  ATLIS includes over 200 member schools and over 1,000 individual members seeking to share knowledge and resources with colleagues throughout the US. Serving both the instructional technology and information technology professionals, ATLIS offers programming, community, and resources.

Our Mission

Technology leaders make the best decisions when they are reflectiveinformed, and connected. ATLIS empowers its members to develop strategies, build relationships, and share best practices in technology and innovation for independent schools.

Additionally, ATLIS meets the needs of even more people at schools outside of the technology department, including (but not limited to):

  • Heads of School and administrators
  • CFOs and Business Officers involved with risk management and cyber security
  • Academic Deans and Department Heads
  • Libriarians, Makerspace Directors
  • Techy teachers

Why join ATLIS?

ATLIS is a rapidly growing professional network for technology leaders in independent schools, providing professional development, networking, and curated resources for members.  Membership in ATLIS is available to independent schools.

ATLIS is proud to have the support of these outstanding independent schools.
