Event Details
Schools are dynamic ecosystems where culture, priorities, and resources are constantly in motion.
In this webinar, Dr. Marquis Scott, Assistant Head of School at The Lawrenceville School and ATLIS Board Member, will introduce systems thinking as a powerful lens for understanding change and leading with intention, curiosity, and purpose.
Drawing on his leadership experience and doctoral research, Dr. Scott will share practical tools to understand a school’s structure holistically and recognize patterns that create school-wide challenges — such as spreading resources across competing priorities, relying on quick fixes instead of long-term strategies, and addressing symptoms rather than root causes. Participants will explore how to apply a holistic governance approach to align school-wide priorities, anticipate outcomes, and navigate complexities with clarity and confidence.
This session will equip technology and school leaders with a clear, adaptable framework to move beyond daily troubleshooting, inspire their teams, and guide change that strengthens the entire school community for the long term.
