ATLIS Board of Directors Self-Nominations Process
The Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools (ATLIS) Nominations Committee is pleased to welcome self-nominations for the Board of Directors.
In alignment with the ATLIS strategic plan and community-building framework, the Board introduced a self-nomination process in 2024. This process opens in late Fall for consideration for the following year of service.
The work of the ATLIS board focuses on setting the vision for the association and planning strategically for its long-term success. ATLIS seeks board members who are:
-
committed to the association’s vision and mission,
-
bring a strategic mindset to the work of charting the association’s course for the future, and
-
dedicated to ATLIS and its mission to empower schools to thrive through technology leadership.
Interested in future board service?
People interested in self-nominating will be asked to review board members' desired competencies and expectations. Once the nominations are open, interested candidates are asked to complete a form indicating their interest and commitment. The ATLIS Board Nominations Committee will review the submitted applications, then notify a group of candidates for virtual interviews, and submit a slate of nominees to the full Board for approval in April 2026. New board members will begin their terms on July 1, in the year following their nomination.
