  • There’s never been a more critical time to level-up your leadership skills.
  • Now is the time to go beyond DIY professional development.
  • Investments in tech will be critical to fulfilling your school’s mission.

ATLIS has revamped its year-long leadership institute to reflect the skills and expertise you’ll need to lead your school through a post-COVID-19 environment.

ATLIS Leadership Institute

The former Early Career Aspiring Technology Director (ECATD) program has been broadened to serve all leadership abilities and career levels. It will focus on what you’ll need to lead your school through this extended crisis.

Featuring

  • A more streamlined application process. No chasing down school references.
  • No travel requirement for the summer residency in 2020. Programming will be delivered virtually on June 18-19 and in virtual Deep-Dives throughout the year.
  • A broader, career-long focus. It’s not just for early-career technologists.
  • Redesigned content around five leadership challenges to focus heightened awareness on the role of technology in independent schools.
  • A team-centric, blended learning approach, which means the program will be flexible enough to handle your work emergencies.
  • A goal-based R&D project.
  • A lower price point, only $15oo, for the 2020-21 cohort. And, for this year only, nonmembers pay the same price as ATLIS members, making the program widely available to all independent school technology leaders.
  • A final in-person wrap-up session at ATLIS’s 2021 Annual Conference in Seattle in April 2021.

5 Leadership Challenges

  • Surveying Your School’s Technology Landscape
  • Innovating Effective Professional Development
  • Building Administrative Alliances
  • IT Infrastructure and Data Safety
  • Personnel and Policies

The program builds on several essentials from the earlier ECATD design, including connection to a highly motivated cohort, Institute faculty, and school-embedded mentors, monthly meet-ups online, a blended learning environment.

“Never has the technology team been thrust into the spotlight more than as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic,” says Christina Lewellen, ATLIS Executive Director. “ATLIS is proud to introduce a contemporary, completely redesigned leadership institute designed to serve tech leaders working through today’s challenges as they unfold.”
