ATLIS AIMS TO MAINTAIN MOMENTUM IN FIFTH YEAR AND BEYOND
Board Announces Dues, Cap Increase to Continue Membership Benefits Expansion

July 1, 2019 (San Carlos, Calif.)—The Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools (ATLIS) has announced the association will increase its dues rate to $3.75 per enrolled student with a cap of $3,750 per school, effective July 1, 2019. This increase, approved by the ATLIS Board of Directors, will allow the association to maintain the momentum it has built in its first four years as an organization as it continues to expand and improve its vast membership offerings.

“The progress we’ve made since 2015 when we started is staggering,” said Jason Ramsden, ATLIS Board President. “The Board is committed to maintaining the momentum we’ve built as we head into our fifth year. This increase in dues is the first in our history and is needed to support the organization as it continues to build on its member services and offerings. In the future, small increases over time to our dues and the cap will allow the association to maintain its role as the best-in-class association for tech leaders in independent schools.”

ATLIS, founded in 2014, has seen significant expansion of member benefits in a short time. The tools, resources, and professional development offerings mirror that of a mature organization and members find invaluable the opportunity to connect with peer technology professionals in the independent school realm.

“ATLIS aims to be the type of organization that sets its member schools apart,” said Christina Lewellen, Executive Director. “With the forward-looking leadership of the board and guidance from our members around the country, we’re excited about what lies ahead. We’re proud of the resources we offer independent schools, and we’re empowering technology leaders with the skills and expertise they need to be a part of the mission-fulfilling leadership teams at their schools.”

In the last year, ATLIS has grown more than 25 percent as it now represents more than 200 schools.
