Susan has been harnessing technology to hack education at universities and at independent schools for more than three decades -- as a techy teacher-leader of English and Language Arts, as a radical administrator, as an educational technology director, and as an edtech explorer. Following her MFA from George Mason University in Creative Writing, she earned a Certificate in Educational Technology Leadership from Goucher College and has married learning and technological innovations ever since -- blogging for Getting Smart and presenting or keynoting at conferences; serving as an online teacher, social media consultant, and virtual coach; and providing independent consulting on how to support best practices for innovative classrooms with constantly evolving digital tools.
